With children in Szczecin - what places to visit?

Szczecin is a city for travelers, businessmen, for people who are curious about the world, but also for families with children. Even though they can be enchanted by a walk along the Embankments of the Brave or a stay at the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle, there are attractions in Szczecin that can still be for them more interesting, ideally suited to the interests of children of all ages.
For those who are curious about the world, you can first take a walk along the Szczecin boulevards, where you can easily buy delicious chocolate to drink or eat, but you can also inhale its wonderful aroma. Later, it is worth walking along the quay where cruise ships dock. Especially in spring and summer tourists can see the routes and prices of trips, which usually last so long that children do not get bored and do not cost too much. During the hour-long cruise you can admire ships mooring in the port, a repair yard, cargo quays with overhead cranes, Ewa elevator. there is waiting for landing and mooring such a cruise is attractive, safe and only when the wind is strong you can feel the waves of the water. If your children are keen on getting to know different means of transport, and this usually is the case, take a trip on a historic tram. Such a tram runs in the summer season, every Sunday in July and August, and it is worth checking in advance what route it goes and at what time. However, when we find it, you can drive it all over Szczecin, and the ride for little money lasted about an hour. The route begins in front of the Main Railway Station. If your children catch the public transport bug, you can take them to the Museum of Technology and Transport. This is one of the most loved places among kids who want to get to know old vehicles. The interactive exhibition is also very popular with them. In addition, a choo-choo car circulates around Jasne Błonia, perfect for small children. It runs around the square to the delight of entire families. Another point on the agenda may be visiting the shelters located under the Main Railway Station. At the beginning you have to put on helmets, which is a big attraction for children. The tour is neither tiring nor long, it takes about an hour, and the guides are also trained to show children around. However, it is worth having warmer clothes for children, because many meters underground is cooler than outside. Cultural kids For many children, an attraction is also a visit to a modern building, which is the Szczecin Philharmonic, which has been awarded many times for its architectural qualities. The kids are very interested in, among other things, an elevator for transporting a piano, instruments or the main hall of the philharmonic hall. Of course, you can also try to buy tickets for some cultural event, if not at the Szczecin Philharmonic, then to the Pleciuga Puppet Theater. Here, for decades, various performances have been prepared for the little ones. Fun in the fresh air Whenever the weather is nice, it is worth staying outdoors. Playing in a group is the best cooperation school for children, and staying in the backyard toughens and improves the mood. There are many playgrounds in Szczecin, both in the Kasprowicza, Żeromski and Andersa parks, in the Przygodna park, at the Słoneczne lake and in many other places. Children play here in sandboxes, on swings, slides, and on climbing walls. Older kids, however, can try their hand at the rope park. One of the most interesting is the rope park near the Głębokie Lake. Many privately run attractions are also being created in Szczecin - from playrooms, trampoline parks, to a mini zoo and parrots. The latter are extremely fashionable. Children can take a closer look at the colorful birds, stroke them and feed them under the watchful eye of their guardians. This is great entertainment, especially on a cloudy day.
